    On 11/09/2012 the third press-conference was organized by RAPIV in the premises of Radio “Varna”. During the event journalists from the following media took part: newspapers “Narodno delo”; “Telegraf” and “Monitor”, TV “Cherno more”, Radio “Varna”, Radio “Focus”, etc. The press-conference was held in the premises of Radio Varna. From RAPIV participated Dr. Dimitar Radev, project manager, eng. Liliya Kaloyanova, senior project officer and Georgi Dimchev, project administrator. Dr. Dimitar Radev briefly presented the BlasNet project and eng. Liliya Kaloyanova made a presentation and introduced to the journalists the organization and holding of the 1st International Workshop in Constanta, Romania, conditions for business and the development of the 3 priority sectors (ICT, Tourism and Maritime industry) in the South-East region of Romania, and some results of the investigation of SMEs needs for supporting services, made through a Questionnaire and interviews.  more

The International seminar under the project Black Sea Regional Development Network (BlasNET)

The International seminar under the project Black Sea Regional Development Network (BlasNET), was held on 28-29.11.2012 in the city of Chisinau, RMoldova. Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovations - Varna (RAPIV) is a lead partner of the project, which is under the Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2007 - 2013,

The seminar, titled "Best Practices in supporting SMEs in the Black Sea Region" was opened by Ms. Lilia Palin, Ministry of Economy RMoldova. Representatives of businesses, professional organizations, NGOs, academics, politicians and leading experts.

The project BlasNet and organizations - partners were presented by Dr. Dimitar Radev, project manager and heads of partner’ organizations. Ms. Cherbushka (ODIMM) presented results of the analysis of the Moldovan SMEs. The presented good practices were in the two priority sectors - ICT and Tourism. They were named as following:

Importance of the rural tourism – Ms. Svetlana Lazar, ANTREC, Moldova;

A house-museum – Anton Lascu,entrepreneur

The cluster “Products of the sea” – Mr. Kulikov (AEDS)

“Simpals” – Mr. Doronceanu, Moldova

Business environment – IT infrastructure – Challenges and successful Solutions – Mr. Anghel, Crucial Systems & Services, Romania

From Bulgarian side as a best practice, the activities of the Varna Chamber of Tourism were presented. The good practice in the field of wine tourism in Moldova - Mileshti Mitch winery caused great interest. Its gold collection is listed in the Guinness Book. 

Mr. Romano Toppan discussed on realization of efficient networks on the base of European Strategy.

Main conclusions emerged from the Seminar are:

- In today's world of high importance for economic development are: the social capital, the approach "bottom-up" and the transition from pyramids to networks, where the balance between "cooperation" and "competition" is natural.

 - The secret to the success of organizations supporting the development of SMEs is in training programs for entrepreneurs.
